Here are a few portraits that I recently shot of Max. All three photos were shot at the exact same location. Sometimes due to time restraints I have to get different looks out of the same location. I often practice this scenario by changing the lighting and shooting at different angles.

These photos of Kristen were shot in a house on the outskirts of Columbia, SC that according to union documents was burned to the ground during the civil war. The union soldiers had orders to burn the property to the ground after their brief stay at the home. I was told by the current owner of the property that the home was spared after a little girl who lived at the house played the piano for the soldiers and entertained them with her music the night before they left. The house has long been abandoned and is in remarkable shape for such an old structure. If only those old gray plaster walls could talk.
